A Level Results 2024

We are delighted to announce that the students at the Academy have achieved our best ever exam results.  The dedication, hard work and commitment has led to some outstanding results and we are delighted that so many of them have secured a place at University.

The majority of the cohort will be taking up University places in a wide range of courses whilst others have gained apprenticeship placements or are going straight into employment.

• We are delighted that Jessica Fartade has gained a place to study Economics at University College London after achieving 2 A* and an A.  Jessica has been at Drapers’ Academy since Year 7 and has achieved the potential we saw in her from an 11 year old.
• With us since Year 7 Curtis Amoako-Boateng, achieved straight A grades in his subjects and is planning to take an apprenticeship in scientific research.
• Laney Moule has been an outstanding student since she joined us in Year 12.  She achieved straight A’s and is taking a GAP year whilst she decides what path to pursue in the future.
• After a great deal of hard work, we are elated to see Melisa Axhami gain a place at University of East Anglia to study medicine.
• Many of our students have secured the grades to study courses at Russell Group Universities.

We wish all out students the best of luck for the future and look forward to hearing how they progress.

I am incredibly proud of our year 13 students and it was wonderful to see so many happy faces this morning as envelopes were nervously opened. Whilst I, and the sixth form team, are incredibly pleased that the Academy have replicated our year on year success with our best results so far, it is the individual successes of our students and the futures they are now about to embark on, that provides us with the most satisfaction and happiness.

We remain in touch with our former students and are delighted to see Jorja Korosec has this year graduated with a 2:1 degree in History from Cambridge University.  She maintains strong links with the Academy and supports many of our current students with their University applications.
