Science Live! in Theatre

On Friday 2nd December a group of Year 11 pupils had the opportunity to go the Aldwych Theatre to hear five of Britain’s top scientists, all working at the cutting edge of their specialisms.

The speakers included Professor Robert Winston and Dr Maggie Pocock who used their expertise to help explain some GCSE concepts which will support the pupils with there Science exams.

They were also given specific examiner support to aide revision and exam practice.

"It was evident that pupils were highly engaged and excited by the talks throughout the day which should encourage them to achieve well in their Science exams. Pupils behaved brilliantly throughout the day and represented Drapers extremely well among many other London schools. As their science teacher I am extremely proud of them all."
